Planning
Wiveton Bell - The
Clerk had received a letter from the NNDC Planning Department informing the
Council that the erection of a wooden extension in the rear garden of the
Wiveton Bell does require planning consent and the owners have been invited to
submit a retrospective planning application. The owner of the Wiveton Bell was in attendance at the
meeting and wished to stress to the Councillors that they were not aware
planning consent would be required for the erection of a wooden storage
building and dog kennel and that a planning application would now be submitted.
In order to improve the exterior of the property a decking area is also due to
be erected.

Planning -
Continued
Notice of Decision - Variation of condition 6 of planning permission to remove requirement for planting of hedge and trees at Wiveton Hall, Marsh Lane – Permission for development.
Mary Wakelin informed the meeting that she had received an enquiry regarding the possible provision, with local landowners consent, of a footpath/cycleway between Wiveton and Blakeney. The Councillors felt it might be possible to obtain a permissive footpath through Howe Hill and Wiveton Hall land and suggested that an informal approach to the land owners to enquire if this is a possibility would be the first step.

P Q T
Chapel Lane Vegetation - At the A R P a parishioner expressed concern that the vegetation in Chapel Lane is encroaching onto the Lane. The properties owners need to be made aware that their planting on the boundary of their properties is creating an obstruction into the Lane.
